List of Blackberry devices that should receive Android P 9.0 update

Blackberry once led cell phone sales every year, but is now nowhere to be found, and neither of the company is launching new products for its fans. In fact, the Canadian giant has signed a deal with TCL to produce devices under its name, and the result has been budget devices that will never receive the Android Oreo 8.0 update anytime soon, so it’s unlikely. an Android P 9.0 appears for them.

The company has one of the worst track records for software updates, as it has already confirmed that Blackberry Priv will not get any future updates, despite running Android in stock, but the company has made sure to provide a solid and secure experience among the group. Additionally, any new models the company might launch will likely have Android Oreo 8.1 or 8.0. And those devices, which launched in 2018, could get the Android P update sometime in early 2019 or by the end of Q2.

Blackberry has focused on creating high-end software solutions for automakers and is also heavily invested in IoT (Internet of Things). Which makes us think if anyone even cares about Android updates.

Android P is a slew of new features like Dark Theme Mode which is very useful for AMOLED displays apart from AI based autofill and message replies are also supported now. Plus, there’s a lot to like about the new Android P 9.0 which is expected to officially debut in the coming months. And sadly, none of the Blackberry devices taste like Android P anytime soon.

We believe that none of the existing Blackberry phones will receive the Android P update as many phones have already dropped off the Blackberry Android Oreo update list.
