What’s New in BlackBerry OS Leaked – Screenshot Tour

From BlackBerry let it slide that OS 10.3.1 will not arrive on compatible smartphones until early 2015, those who are eager to take advantage of the new features included in the next update have the option to flash the leaked versions that are not yet final.

Every now and then a new version of the operating system leaks online and BlackBerry 10 users can install it on their smartphones and decide whether or not to keep it.

The latest version of BlackBerry OS that recently appeared online at Crackberry forums promises a few fixes here and there, but doesn’t appear to contain any significant new functionality.

If you own a BlackBerry 10 smartphone and dreamed of having the latest version of the operating system on your device, you can try BB OS, which is now available for download online.

The disclosed operating system is compressed and offered as an .exe file, so there is not much you can do except run it. Make sure to back up all your information on the device before trying to flash this version of BlackBerry OS.

If you are already using a previously disclosed BlackBerry operating system and want to know if the new version is worthy of your device, read on.

First of all, as mentioned earlier, BlackBerry OS does not bring any major new features. However, BlackBerry engineers fixed a few things in this release, like BBM scanning in the hub.

No major new functionality has been implemented in this version

Additionally, the flickering screen in apps has been significantly reduced, although it is still present, as has the message copy bug.

Although BlackBerry Passport owners who flashed the new version claim they now have to swipe twice to open it, our Z30 requires just one swipe. There is no PIN watermark and no Flash in the browser. BlackBerry has also removed diagnostic tools for developers.

These are among the most significant changes reported by those who have frequently used the new BlackBerry OS since its leak.

Finally, it’s also worth mentioning that if you prioritize battery life over performance and speed, you shouldn’t install this version. If you want the latest version of BlackBerry on your smartphone, you must install the operating system

More importantly, the disclosed BlackBerry OS does not appear to introduce any major bugs that would prevent it from being used on a daily basis. Let us know in the comments section if you’ve noticed any issues with this release, or any important new features that we may have missed.
